David wrote a Sonata for Clipper and in 2013, Clipper promised to record all of his pieces that he had performed. In 2011, Clipper asked his friend, Richard, to write a Latin piece, Tango Sonatina. He also wrote Sonata Notturna. This piece showcases the musical letters of Clipper's name: C,E,C,S (Eb).
