On November 11, the centennial of the end of WWI, at 7:30 at Rock Hall on the Temple University Campus, I will give one of the most meaningful programs I have done in the last several years. I'm privileged to give the first performance of Laurie Altman's Sonata #10 "Aleppo" - a deeply moving and masterful work commemorating one of the seminal tragedies of our century so far. Paired with this is Nathan Dett's Eight Bible Vignettes - his final work expressing home for a new beginning for humanity. I hope that many of you can share this great music with me!
Warm regards and greetings,
Clipper Erickson
